Valentine completed a fast-track design for a dewatering system to replace the solids drying bed process currently in use at the WWTP.  Valentine assisted with analysis and pre-selection of dewatering technology. A screw press dewatering system was selected. The design includes two FKC screw presses, two conveyors, polymer system design, roll-off bin design, shade canopy design, site improvements (paving, grading) and yard piping relocations and extensions. Valentine also assisted in the permitting phase to acquire Conditional Use Permit and building Permits from the City of Honolulu, and construction administration services.
