Valentine Environmental Engineers is excited to break ground on the Picacho Water Reclamation Facility Expansion with our partners JW Water Holdings, LLC and Hunter Construction!
This project will deliver a 1 MGD MBR plant to replace the existing 0.5 MGD SBR plant. The compact design allows the new facility to fit within the same site footprint while doubling treatment capacity and significantly improving effluent quality.
The expansion includes:
- Polymer concrete influent lift station
- Fine screening & influent equalization
- Two bioreactors and two membrane tanks with flat plate membranes
- Gravity permeate system
- Process air blowers & membrane air scour blowers
- Solids holding tank with dewatering screw press
- Pulsed aeration for anoxic zone and solids holding tank mixing
- In-pipe chlorine contact system
- Non-potable water (NPW) storage and pumping system
