This project included site master planning and concept through detailed design of 550 gpm dual adsorption arsenic treatment vessels.  Ancillary facilities included pH adjustment systems to lower pH prior to treatment and increase pH back to typical potable water pH range after treatment.  The wells supplying the arsenic treatment system were off site, and Valentine prepared hydraulic analyses to determine the impact to well capacity and ensure sufficient inlet and outlet pressures.  Site master planning considered space for future storage tanks and booster pump station. Approvals to construct and of construction were acquired from Maricopa County Environmental Services Department.
